Meet Elisabeth

This is Elisabeth, our newest "bud graft" on our family tree! She is 5 weeks old now, and here she is sitting on the couch in her "spiffy" shirt that she wore just this one time. She is growing like a weed! Her personality is starting to emerge, with many more smiles and recognition when she is picked up. She has a formidable scowl, however, and a baleful glare too boot! And when she yells, I swear they can hear her the next town over.

Last evening she slept, for all intents and purposes, through the night for the first time. I fed her at 11 p.m. and she woke up for her next bottle at 4:30 a.m.!!! Wowsa! I LOVE that! It was pretty daunting to do the waking up every two hours thing, especially as a much older Momma!
